Communications – Monitors and facilitates two-way radio traffic for all tournament operations. For more information, contact Andy Zilm at 217/854-9784

Distance Marking – Record shot distance for statistical purposes. Reports to Scoring Committee Chairs. For more information, contact Cindy England at 217/529-3216

Facilities/Operations – Responsible for golf course set up and teardown, water crew, ecology detail and maintenance of interior roping and staking during the tournament. For more information, contact Randy Armstrong at 217/622-9447

Finance – Must be a prior Finance Volunteer or be approved by Vice Chair of Finance to volunteer for this committee. If interested, please indicate so on your form and we will contact you. For more information, contact Andy Martin at 217/415-5338

Gates – Greet patrons, sell, distribute and check credentials at tournament entrances. This committee also staffs the Will Call tent for patrons picking up pre-paid credentials. For more information, contact Jeff Stolleis at 217/747-5548

Greens Reporters – Positioned near an exit on each green, receives scores from walking scorers. Responsible for inputting professional’s scores into pre-programmed hand-held Palm device. For more information, contact Patti Young at 217/483-8358

Leaderboards – Posts hole-by-hole scoring updates on various manual leaderboards. For more information, contact Joe Cernich at 217/787-1261

Marshals – Assist in crowd and player movement. Ensures the gallery remains quiet and still while players are making shots. For more information, contact Evon Pickens at 217/364-5872. Marshal Duties

Media Center – Support media partners and LPGA Tour officials in the operation of the media center, including answering phones, delivering messages, making copies, shuttling players, etc. For more information, contact Sue Roderick at 217/787-9086

Parking – Responsible for overseeing the parking of cars in the main parking lot. For more information, contact Jeff Stolleis at 217/747-5548

Player Services – Responsible for many facets of service for the LPGA professionals during their stay in Springfield. Committees include: Transportation, Registration, Player Hospitality, Caddie Services and Player Shuttle. For more information, contact Erick Irwin at 217/787-5742

Practice Range – Set up practice range and distribute balls for tournament participants. For more information, contact Mary Lou Kent at 217/529-8555

Scoreboard – Assist the professional calligrapher with maintenance of Official Scoreboard. For more information, contact Cindy England at 217/529-3216

Scoring Control – Responsible for tracking hole-by-hole score of each LPGA professional. Transmits scores via two-way radio to the Manual Leaderboards. For more information, contact Dave Wagner at 217/546-2429

Scoring Tents – Responsible for coordination of starting and verification tents. For more information, contact Cindy England at 217/529-3216

Security – Monitors various areas throughout the golf course, secures VIP hospitality areas by close monitoring of appropriate credentials. For more information, contact Chuck Ludwig at 217/793-9125

Standard Bearers – Walks with an assigned group of two or three professionals throughout the 18 holes of playing carrying a standard that displays the scores of the group. Must be at least 15 years of age. For more information, contact Bruce Hays at 217/498-7787

Walking Scorers – One scorer walks inside the ropes with a group of two or three professionals for 18 holes recording statistics for each individual player. A thorough knowledge of the game of golf is necessary. For more information, contact Cindy England at 217/529-3216
